Moving into the next agenda, the statement of intent flag. The purpose of the flag is a way to represent our intention in producing the upcoming project as well as what I stand for as a designer. The flag to me is also a reminder to myself about my objective as a designer so I won't be confused with the outcome of my findings and my intentions.
Like the 10 bullet points I mentioned in my previous post, it is clear that I wanted to collaborate mental wellbeing with design, and in order to do that levels of comfort in the mind are very important when looking at the flag. With that being said, I sketched out an overall look I wanted for the flag, and an important element I wanted to include is a mascot? Basically, a subject that could represent the human mind.

The current draft of the sketch
It's a mess for now, but I tried visualizing what I wanted it to look like and some elements I included:
a. Background: Words of discouragement.
The background I had in mind is what a bad day feels like, all the judgment, the failure, the unhappiness, in order show the various discomfort that would cause the mind to combust.
b. Force field of Peace
Something that blocks out the negativity, a slowly growing force if the mind is well-rested and happy.
c. Encouraging Words
I put in the phrase "It's ok to be not ok". I find those words comforting, like when we feel the way we feel, we might not understand it, but just knowing it's normal to feel that way helps a lot.
d. Symbol of our mind (Resting to feel better)
When we were kids we have tantrums cause of not getting the nap we needed and this is all due to the emotions taking the wheel when the mind is tired, so we were told to sleep it off to reset ourselves, which comes to the idea of having a sleeping person representing a well mind crying itself to sleep.
