T&T, Week 4: Life Tracking & Data Visualisation Activity

Apparently I've missed class last week but got back on board after watching the recorded lecture. Since we'll be recording data from what we do daily, I've been thinking what do I do daily that's unnecessary but I do it anyway, haha. And there goes my younger sister barging in asking me useless question and to keep her off I'll ask her if the house chores are done, then only she would leave cause I knew she dislike me nagging her with the house chores... DING! "How many times I nag my Sister".

On the first day, after watching the tutorial she starts to annoy me and I was like wow, this is gonna be easy! And she goes on annoying me to do stuff with her but I'm busy with school work, and etc, but she's so persistent, and so I nagged, and nagged, and nagged. Until she leaves. And to know what loud is, she's the definition, her voice is not only loud but also piercing, so imagine her screaming if I return a tickle she did to me.

How I collected the data

I drew a table to record the time and why I nagged her, and created the legends of the reasons with slang I often used when I nagged her. After sifting through the reason, there're the Top 4 reasons which is Chores, Loud, Annoying and Physical. I also colored each of the reason for future use.

As you can see the first 2 days are the most time I nagged her, just cause we're the only people home, so you get the picture. And which makes the activity easily done, but on the third day of the data tracker, my parents came home so now my mom's the nagger. Which leads to the third day to have lesser data. And another reason why I nagged lesser is also me and my sister are in good-term, so she did her chores and bother me lesser, which is also one of the factor that the data collection is interrupted.

The Final Outcome

I chose to do the data visualiser in a flower with may different colored petals. And to separate the days, I used different shade of the color of the reason. As you can see, day 1 starts from the center of the flower then day 2's petal will spread around passing to day 3 and 4. I chose a flower just because to make a flower bloom is to let an insect like a bee to provide pollen which spark the creation. And so my sister is the freaking bee, and the reason's are the pollen she gives to the flower to nagged.
