After doing a tutorial, it turns out I need to use another element for the video as a requirement for the project, so I thought of creating a stop motion video with the voices of those participants in the discussion.

My life as a Zucchini directed by Claude Barras

I thought of doing a stop motion because even though I wanted people to start discussing the topic, it still can be quite a private and personal thing to share, and by animating I could hide the participant's identity and also incorporate symbolic elements into the video too, and my lecturer also propose that I out in a word count of how many times a word is brought up so the viewers know the keywords this topic.

Storyboard of the video.

And so I begin with researching the craft. The method of beginning a stop motion is to prepare the materials, so I've got the voices, but they aren't as clear so I might have to rerecord with the participants. After compiling the voices, I also looked into software that is suitable for stop motion, and since I using my phone to record the video, I'll be using an app, which is called Life Lapse, overall the usage of the app is fine, but one of the downside it has a watermark if I were to safe the video. I also tried many other apps, but most of them require an in-app purchase to make the recording smooth.

Usage of the app

After going through the apps, somehow, nothing is going as well, cause if I were to proceed with this method I would need to buy the app which is not a good idea since I'll be using it only for this project, and it turns out I need more time to complete the project with this method, and so I moved on to another alternative way to shoot the video. :(
