How to Open a Bottle

How to open a bottle is a storybook project that I submitted for The Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrator Competition in 2021. The book was intended to teach children the importance of expressing their emotions.

Sypnosis:

A young girl was playing in the woods and that was where she found a glass bottle. She tried to open it but no matter how hard she tried, the cork on the wouldn't budge. But as she moves on with her day, she encounters various situations that left her feelings wronged and accused. And then, something strange starts to happen, the jar was filled with bubbles, different colored bubbles that are just like her emotions that were bottled up. At the end of the day, she learned that the proper way to release those emotions was to speak her mind and be forward with what she believe.
