GDC Part 2, Week 2: 1000 words about someone.

Another week another project!

For this week, we were told to start another project called 1000 words about someone. Now for this project, we have to be socializing and I super unsocialized, and with this pandemic going on... I've been in my comfort zone for quite an amount of time...but we're gonna change that with interviewing someone!

The Brief

This project, as seen in the picture above is about a magazine interview, but with a little extra zest. Basically, the requirement of the project is to make a 2-page magazine spread about someone we'll interview. The design and layout of the magazine need to represent the person best, the color palette, fonts, decoration, layout style is to be considered by who we'll be interviewing.

After going through the brief of the project, I immediately start to think of who I wanted to interview, so I cross-check who I could potentially interview. It must be someone I know, not too close but is easy to talk to, and have some sort of interesting life... I do have a friend! ( •́ω•̩̥̀ )

Target Locked!

This is my dear friend Amirah, we're quite close buddies back in secondary school, we've met through after-school club activities and needless to say, she was outgoing and friendly, so we just became friends from then. After SPM, we went our separate ways, and the only time I see her was on Instagram and online. But fate brought us back together, we met up again last year for a project discussion. And it appears that something about her is different. I guess she looks more open? Or just more relaxed, living life to the fullest kinda vibe. And so, with this curiosity, I just gotta know what happen in that period of life, So, that's my celebrity for my magazine!
